Travel Information Counselor

Two dynamic, bilingual individuals are required to provide excellent customer service and tourist information. The position reports directly to the Chamber Office Administrator. This is a summer student position starting June 4, ending August 31, 2012. To be eligible for this position, the candidate must be returning to secondary or post-secondary studies in September 2012.

DUTIES
Serve the clients of the Chamber-operated Tourist Information Centre
General office administration

CRITERIA/SKILLS
Excellent knowledge of Timmins and its attractions
Good computer knowledge
Above average communication skills
Personable, friendly, outgoing and highly motivated
Bilingualism is required (French/English)

Working Hours – (35 hours per week) Rotational shifts until 7 p.m. on weekdays and Saturdays (10 a.m. – 5 p.m.)

Rate of Pay $10.25/hour
