DUTIES:

 Greeting and informing visitors about the community and the museum.
 Providing informal tours of the museum.
 Providing security for exhibitions and related activities.
 Working in the gift shop, which includes sales, cash balances and stock inventories.
 Other related duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

 Grade 12 Diploma or equivalency.
 Previous retail, gallery and customer service experience.
 Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
 Excellent communication skills.
 Ability work in a team environment.
 Fluency in English and French preferred.

These duties are performed on weekends and some evenings.

SALARY: Band Level 1: $18.44–$21.70 (2012)
(As per the Local 434 Collective Agreement)
