We are currently seeking part-time Registered Psychotherapist or Registered Social Worker to provide child therapy. This position is in-person at our downtown Timmins office. Bilingualism is an asset.

Creating Connection CFT offers couples, family and individual counselling and psychotherapy. Connection, Compassion, Support, Growth & Acceptance. As our clinic is expanding and growing we are currently looking for a part-time dedicated and qualified Registered Psychotherapist (CRPO) or Registered Social Worker (OCSWSSW) to join our team.
We are looking for a Registered Psychotherapist or Registered Social Worker to join our team and provide quality mental health services to our clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing individual, family, and group therapy. The therapist will be responsible for assessing client needs, developing treatment plans, and providing ongoing therapeutic support. We are looking for someone who is compassionate, empathetic, and has excellent communication skills and previous work experience with children.
Responsibilities:
- Provide psychotherapy to children and families.
- Develop treatment plans based on individual needs.
- Conduct assessments of mental health issues.
- Maintain accurate records of client progress.
- Develop and implement therapeutic interventions to address client needs.
- Provide psycho-education to clients and families.
- Refer clients to other professionals when necessary.
The ideal team player also demonstrates:
- cultural competence
- seeks regular supervision and ongoing professional development
- Master's degree in Social Work or Counselling Psychology
- Ability to collaborate with Circle of Care
- Understanding of OCSWSSW or CRPO code of Ethics and duty to report
- Self awareness of scope of practice
- Knowledge of therapeutic SEUS

Job Types: Part-time, Casual
Pay: $90.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10-15 hours per week

Education:

- Certification in Play Therapy or Children's Mental Health
