Co-Op Engineering Student (9-12 month placement)

Tahoe Canada is located in Timmins, Ontario.
The Bell Creek Complex, located approximately 20 kilometers northeast of Timmins, Ontario, consists of an underground mine and processing facility. Mineralization is associated with the Porcupine-Destor fault system within the Abitibi greenstone belt, with ore mined by narrow vein longhole stoping methods. Ore is then transported to surface via a newly commissioned 1080m deep shaft at a mining rate of 1800 tpd.
We are currently recruiting for: Co-Op Engineering Student (9-12 month placement)
Tahoe Canada is seeking a 2nd, 3rd or 4th year Mine Engineering Co-op Student to support the Engineering department at our Bell Creek Mine site in the Timmins area.
General duties will include assisting the planning, ventilation and surveying personnel in their day-to-day activities and will require work in both on surface and in underground environments. Data entry, filing, and excellent computer skills will be required. You will be required to work with Amine, EPS and Microsoft Office.
Students must be currently enrolled in a mineral/mining program to be eligible. Proof of eligibility required. The successful candidate will demonstrate Tahoe Canada’s core values in Safety Health and the Environment and will meet the requirements of its Code of Conduct.
