Rehab Plus is a rehabilitation and fitness center in Timmins with a team that consists of Registered Physiotherapists,Registered Kinesiologists, Physiotherapy Assistants, Fitness Consultants, a Registered Nurse, and a Registered Massage Therapist. We work collaboratively together to help you achieve optimal health by providing preventative and rehabilitation treatment for an array of mobility issues, injuries (acute or chronic) and/or diseases including cardiac, diabetes, pulmonary, arthritis and many more. Our modern, fully air-conditioned centre offers a chance for clients to improve their health and well-being. Our staff is always available to guide you through your exercises or to answer any questions regarding your health and fitness needs.

The Fitness Consultant will be responsible for performing clinical assessments and implementing exercise treatment plans for clients. We are seeking a highly motivated team player who has previous experience performing physical assessments with fitness clients.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, developing & implementing exercise care plans for fitness members, athletes as well as clients who have experienced a recent decline in functional mobility due to injury or illness. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring the progress of fitness clients.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in
Kinesiology, college diploma in Fitness and Leisure or equivalent
- Current registration with the College of
Kinesologists of Ontario (CKO) or equivalent experience in a related field
is an asset
- CPR and First Aid Certification (CPR
Level C Minimum)
- Experience developing and providing
exercise programs with a focus on musculoskeletal disorders and associated
- Excellent clinical, interpersonal, and
- Ability to work independently and
collaboratively as a member of an interdisciplinary team
- Ability to communicate in both official
languages is an asset
Roles and Duties:
- Instruct clients through their active exercise
program, educate them on the importance of compliance, and answer all questions
related to exercise programming.
- Documents and communicates
assessment results, progress, discharge and other relevant information in
accordance with the College and departmental standards utilizing approved
