Marketing Coordinator

Job Type: Contract Worker (24 months or 2 years), with opportunity for full time

Location: Timmins, ON CANADA;

Wage: $20 - $30 hourly

Hours: 30-40 hours weekly

We at ReadyQuip are currently looking to grow our team and expand our organization. In doing so, a Marketing Coordinator is a key component to our growth. We are searching for a dedicated, and self-motivated individual that can help bring ReadyQuip to the next level.


 Key Accountabilities:

·         Support the marketing department's initiatives with the planning, executing, and tracking of marketing programs such as email, event, social media, or content marketing

·         Independently coordinate marketing and community events, including overseeing logistics, managing registrations, coordinating with vendors, creating itineraries, and ordering marketing collateral

·         Coordinate product, event, or content email marketing campaigns, including copy, scheduling, testing, and database management

·         Create, proofread, and edit copy for various marketing channels, ensuring consistent voice

·         Assist with developing and managing content and social media marketing programs, including blogs and public relations efforts

·         Evaluate and monitor campaign performance on an ongoing basis by analyzing key metrics and creating comprehensive reports

·         Manage relationships with external vendors to ensure high-quality and timely execution of marketing programs, and to ensure competitiveness

·         Conduct market research and identify trends

·         Source/order/update marketing materials for RQ and OEMS eg. Promo, letterheads, note pads, swag

·         Event planning

·         Revise marketing plan

·         Work with each department to strengthen our marketing efforts and returns

·         Prepare PowerPoint presentations for various needs / Assist in deployment of pp

·         Implement/execute customer aspen portal access via website – integrate with website

·         Mail chimp ads

·         Manage all social media mediums post daily

·         Manage all updates on RQ website including but not limited to;

     o   in stock / incoming equipment

     o   employee contact page

     o   news page

     o   photos and photo descriptions

     o   contact with mr website personnel

·         Update / manage new marketing brochures / booklets

·         Special projects as required



     ·         Fluently bilingual in French and English, oral and written preferred

·         Bachelor's or College degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or a related field

·         1-3 years of experience in marketing

·         Must have strong organizational and project management skills, as well as attention to detail

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills, relationship building and interpersonal skills to collaborate with and train diverse cross functional teams

·         Outstanding copywriting and proofreading skills

·         Firm grasp on various marketing platforms, channels, and best practices, including social, digital, and email marketing

·         Self-directed/self-starter and flexible team player with the ability to work independently with high integrity, initiative and able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines

·         Effective time management and organizational skills with the ability to quickly adapt to multiple and often changing schedules and priorities in a deadline driven environment

·         Must have strong analytical skills to analyze metrics and create reports

·         Must have a high level of creativity

·         Experience working with HTML, CSS and Photoshop or similar would be beneficial

·         Proven knowledge and experience using social media tools and influencer tools

·         Knowledge of JavaScript/jQuery would be beneficial

·         A team player with a strong customer service orientation.

·         Good organizational skills.

·         Occasional travel may be required

·         Experience with windows and Microsoft Office and other applications applications (Access, Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, skype, publisher, adobe, one note, POS, teams, teamviewer, Zoom, Adobe suite).
