McEwen Mining Inc. has four producing mines, located in Nevada, Ontario, Mexico and Argentina, and also owns a very large, underdeveloped copper deposit in Argentina. Our goal is to further develop into a strong and profitable gold and silver producer, focused on the Americas. In order to that, we need great talent. McEwen Mining currently has an opening at our Fox Complex Mill Site for a:

Mill Utility

The Mill Utility person will report to the Mill General Foreman and will be responsible for assisting mill services staff in completing their assigned tasks. He/she is expected to assist with cleaning facilities, equipment, and tools, and providing manual labour services as required.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

• Cleaning the Crusher area
• General cleaning and upkeep of the Mill
• Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures
• Provide manual labour assistance on various tasks and assignments
• Assist with other tasks in the Mill when required

Qualifications and Skills Requirements:

• Completion of secondary school is usually required
• Valid driver’s license class G, and a reliable means of transportation
• Ability to work safely and efficiently
• Willing to work shift work
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be physically fit and capable of performing physical labour and shoveling
• Any knowledge of equipment operations would be beneficial, skid steer/loader etc.
• Previous work experience in a milling environment an asset
