Summary

The Timmins Public Library will be hiring a Library Clerk to work on a casual basis at both library branches for the winter term. Work will include circulation functions, reshelving, shelf-reading and related responsibilities primarily on Saturdays and Sundays.


Qualifications

• Two-year community college diploma preferred
• Good keyboarding and internet searching skills
• Bilingualism is a definite asset
• Articulate, dependable, self-motivated and enjoy working with the public of all ages
• Current WHMIS certificate
• Current and clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screen required

 
Rate of pay:       $18.64/hour
Hours:       Saturdays 10:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. or 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
                  Sundays 1:00 p.m.- 5:00 p.m.
