Position: Service Manager / 310T Truck and Coach Technician

Employment Type: Full-Time

We are looking for an experienced and motivated 310T Truck and Coach Technician Service Manager to join our team. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who has strong technical knowledge, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to lead a busy service department.

Responsibilities

• Lead, support, and schedule technicians and service staff
• Diagnose, repair, and oversee maintenance of trucks, trailers, and heavy-duty equipment
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
• Review work orders, estimates, parts requirements, and job progress
• Communicate with customers regarding repairs, service requirements, and timelines
• Coordinate preventative maintenance and service schedules
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies and applicable regulations
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation
• Monitor shop productivity, quality, and turnaround times
• Assist technicians with complex diagnostic and repair issues when required
• Maintaining Fleets

Qualifications

• Valid 310T Truck and Coach Technician Red Seal certification required
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a 310T technician
• Previous supervisory or service management experience is an asset
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
• Experience working with diesel engines, electrical systems, brakes, air systems, and other heavy-duty truck components
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple jobs in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver's licence
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship
