Position Overview

We are currently hiring highly qualified Security Guard for a public location . This is a permanent full-time position.

This role is suited for experienced professionals who can operate independently and maintain high standards in a public-facing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a strong, professional, and authoritative presence
• Conduct proactive patrols and identify potential risks
• Monitor public activity to ensure safety and compliance
• Respond effectively to incidents, disturbances, and emergencies
• Liaise with law enforcement and emergency services when required
• Complete detailed, accurate, and professional reports
• Enforce site policies with confidence and professionalism

Requirements (Strict)

• Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence (mandatory)
• Minimum 1 year of verifiable security experience required
• Police Foundations diploma preferred
• CPR & First Aid (Level C) – current and valid
• Strong experience in conflict management and de-escalation
• High-level report writing skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Physically capable of working 8-12 hour shifts (standing/walking)
• Clean criminal background check
• Must have a vaild work permit

Preferred Assets

• Experience in public or municipal security environments
• Previous mobile patrol or supervisory experience
• Additional training in crisis intervention or mental health awareness
• Strong communication and leadership skills
