Job Title: Contract Handyman

Location: Jubilee Centre, Timmins ON

About the Role:

We are looking for a reliable and skilled Handyman to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a broad range of repair and maintenance skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:

·         Perform general maintenance and repair work (carpentry, painting, drywall, minor plumbing etc.)

·         Complete assigned work orders in a timely and professional manner

·         Ensure work areas are kept clean and safe

·         Communicate clearly about project timelines, materials, and any additional work needed

·         Provide lawn care services such as mowing, trimming, and light landscaping

·         Assist in shoveling, and salting during winter months

·         Provide your own tools and transportation

Qualifications:

·         Proven experience as a handyman or in a similar role

·         Strong knowledge of general maintenance and repair techniques

·         Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

·         Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor

·         Must have own tools, vehicle, and valid driver’s license

Contract Details:

·         Flexible hours based on project needs

·         This is a contract position (not a full-time employment)

·         The individual will be self-employed and is responsible for managing applicable tax filings remittances.
