Key Responsibilities and duties:

·       Diagnose & troubleshoot using computerized diagnostic equipment to identify problems with engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and emissions.

·       Perform road tests and safety inspections.

·        Perform repairs, adjustments, and component replacements (e.g., brakes, steering, suspension, HVAC) to manufacturer specifications.

·       Execute routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, etc.

·       Provide clear explanations of diagnosis and required repairs to customers, prepare accurate estimates, and maintain detailed service logs.

·       Adhere to safety protocols, keep a clean, organized, and safe work environment, and properly dispose of hazardous materials.

·       Keep equipment and tools properly maintained.

·       Able to follow and maintain standards of Health and Safety.

·       Any other related tasks or duties.

Requirements, Education and Qualifications:

·       Preferred valid provincial issued automotive service technician license (Ex: 310S Automotive License)

·       High school diploma or equivalent, plus completion of an accredited automotive service technician program.

·       Minimum 2+ years of professional experience as an automotive technician.

·       Deep knowledge of vehicle systems, repair procedures, and diagnostic software.

·       Valid driver's license.

·       Strong stamina for lifting, standing, and working in a fast-paced environment.

·       Proficient in using both hand-held and specialized power tools.

·       Strong team player

·       Excellent customer service and communication skills.

·       Willingness to learn and complete ongoing training for new automotive technology.
