Job description :
- Oversee daily motel operations on the property (housekeeping and maintenance).
- Hire, train, schedule and supervise maintenance employees.
- Ensure compliance with Health, safety and company policies.
- Coordinate maintenance and upkeep of the property and associated vehicles.
- Coordinate with support services/trades.
- Resolve issues promptly on the property.
- Supervise rooms maintenance daily.
- Maintain inventory (vehicles, tools and supplies) and order supplies as needed - Coordinate snow removal operation. - Coordinate support of onsite electronic equipment. - Must be able to coordinate maintenance and operate equipment (tractors, trucks, loaders). - Assist other departments as needed.
Qualification:
- Previous experience in hotel, motel, hospitality, or property management is an asset.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities. - Experience managing expenses and staff.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays when required.
- Proficiency with video and computer systems.
- Post-secondary education in hospitality, business, or a related field is an asset. - Experience coordinating trades.
