OK TIRE is looking for a  Permanent Full Time Tire Technician
Salary from $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week

Position Overview:
As a Tire Technician/Installer, you will be an integral part of our Shop Team, responsible for executing all tire-related services.

Key Responsibilities:

Tire Services:

Tire Repairs: Determine the best method of repair, complete the task, or make recommendations for replacement/warranty if warranted.

 Installation: Perform installation and proper balancing of newly installed tires, ensuring all checkpoints such as proper inflation, rotation, etc., are covered.

 Rotation: Ensure proper rotation of tires and document rotation for future reference.

Shop Related:

•  Maintain a neat and tidy work area, including daily cleaning/sweeping.
• Ensure all equipment and general parts required for tire services are well maintained and prevent stock-outs of commonly used parts/supplies.
• Dispose of used items in appropriate recycling areas and notify Shop Manager/Owner when removal is required.

Customer Service:

• Provide explanations and recommendations for tire repairs or replacements.
•  Ensure customer vehicles are kept clean and free from any damages while in our possession.
• Take ownership of your repairs and strive to ensure all necessary components are completed to ensure customer satisfaction and zero return-defects.

General:

• This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8 hours a day, and Saturday, 7½ hours with a 1-hour unpaid break/lunch
•  Employees must wear appropriate coveralls as provided and ensure they are in a presentable condition (i.e., clean).
• Follow all Health & Safety requirements.

Skills/Qualifications Required:

• Some previous experience/knowledge in the automotive trade preferred
• Able to take direction and complete tasks as assigned.
• Willingness to learn. • Able to multi-task and handle multiple priorities on a daily basis
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Physically capable of lifting and moving items up to 50 lbs.
• Must be available to work full-time, 5 days a week + overtime when required.
