Position Summary: The Security Technical Manager oversees the Technical Division of Advanced Security LP, leading the delivery of electronic security services including installation, servicing, and technical support. This role provides strategic and operational oversight to ensure the quality, safety, and growth of technical service offerings. Working closely with technicians, clients, and other managers, the Technical Manager is responsible for driving innovation, ensuring compliance, and supporting the continued expansion of ASLP’s technical capabilities in alignment with the strategic goals of Attawapiskat Enterprises.

Key Responsibilities:
Division Leadership & Operations
· Lead all technical operations, including installation, programming, and servicing of security systems (CCTV, access control, intrusion, etc.).
· Ensure operational efficiency, safety compliance, and technical excellence across all projects.
· Develop work schedules and allocate resources to meet client needs.
· Support integration of new technology, equipment, and systems.
Team Supervision & Development
· Manage and mentor a team of technicians and junior staff.
· Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance reviews.
· Promote continuous learning and technical certification within the team.
· Ensure staff are equipped to deliver high-quality service in line with industry and company standards.
Client Service & Relationship Management
· Act as a point of contact for technical clients, resolving issues and ensuring satisfaction.
· Support the sales team by contributing to technical assessments, proposals, and estimates.
· Maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and service delivery.
Financial & Strategic Oversight
· Collaborate with the Finance Manager to develop and monitor budgets and forecasts.
· Track project costs, resource use, and revenue to ensure division profitability.
· Identify opportunities for growth, innovation, and operational improvement.
· Provide regular performance updates to the CEO.
Compliance & Quality Control
· Ensure adherence to health and safety, electrical, and building regulations.
· Maintain documentation, inspection records, and service logs.
· Lead quality assurance and continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications & Competencies:
· 5+ years of experience in security systems installation and technical service.
· Proven leadership experience managing technical teams.
· Strong knowledge of access control, surveillance, intrusion detection, and networked systems.
· Ability to manage project budgets, timelines, and staff.
· Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
· Familiarity with applicable codes, safety regulations, and licensing requirements.
· Experience working with Indigenous organizations or in remote/Northern communities is an asset.
· Ability to travel for periods of time.
