Position
Summary:
The Technical Division
Supervisor is the lead field technician responsible for overseeing the delivery
and quality of technical installations and service work at Advanced Security LP
(ASLP). As a leadership position within the Technical Division, the Supervisor
supports the Manager in daily operations, contributes to business growth, and
ensures alignment with the broader strategic direction of Attawapiskat
Enterprises. The Supervisor plays a critical role in staff development,
customer service, and operational efficiency, ensuring the delivery of services
reflects ASLP's commitment to excellence and community wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
Field Leadership & Technical Execution
- Serve as lead technician for all field installations, service work, and technical deployments.
- Oversee the on-site execution of technical sales proposals, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to company standards.
- Conduct service and maintenance activities for ASLP clients, ensuring long-term functionality and customer satisfaction.
- Support the scheduling process to optimize technician deployment and service delivery.
Customer Relations & Sales Support
- Act as a key contact for technical clients and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Participate in site visits as part of the sales process to assess scope and technical needs.
- Prepare sales quotes and estimates using company templates and pricing structures.
- Review and validate proposals created by team members, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
Team Supervision & Development
- Guide, train, and mentor technicians and helpers to ensure high-quality workmanship and service delivery.
- Participate in the hiring process for new technical staff.
- Assist the Manager with technical staff performance reviews.
- Foster a collaborative and safe working environment aligned with the values of Attawapiskat Enterprises.
Operational & Administrative Oversight
- Support the ordering and procurement of parts and materials in line with ASLP protocols.
- Recommend improvements in technical workflows and operational efficiencies to the Manager.
- Stay current on relevant government regulations and industry developments to ensure compliance and innovation in services.
- Complete all documentation and reporting as required.
Qualifications & Competencies:
- Extensive field experience in security system installation, maintenance, and repair.
- Demonstrated leadership in a field-based or technical operations setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience mentoring and training junior staff.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adjust to changing job requirements.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Understanding of safety protocols and relevant regulatory standards.
- Proficiency with quoting tools and scheduling systems is an asset.
- Ability to travel for periods of time.
